The Adventure Begins in 89 Days

No update for over a month!!!  Well, COVID knocked me down, but not out.  It has definitely had an impact on my ability to train, but I am getting stronger by the day.  Enough about me though.

We roll out for Oceanside 89 days from today.  There is no turning back at this point.  We continue to plan, gather sponsors, and train!  Honestly, the training part is the easiest part of the equation.  It is the planning and logistics that are a NIGHTMARE!  At least for a team full of rookies.

We have a crew chief, Jo Anne Pennington.  A rookie crew chief to go with the RAAM rookie riders.  Jo Anne has stepped up big time and volunteered for this massive undertaking.  We can't thank her enough.

She has been hard at work on logistics, booking hotels, and going over about every "what if" scenario that we are going to encounter during the race.

On the sponsor front we have been busy.  Please be sure and visit our sponsors and let them know you heard about them through us.  Our current sponsor roster looks like this:

Cincinnati Bell

Nokia Networks

Neltner Small Batch

Juniper Networks

Fujitsu Networks

Kevin Daniel

Mendon Cyclesmith

Adtran

Pivot Realty Group

Our fundraising is just getting off the ground.  Racing across America isn't hard.  Having Huntington's Disease is.  The symptoms of Huntington's Disease are like having ALS, Parkinson's, and Alzheimer's - simultaneously.  To find out more about HD click here.  You can donate to the cause here.

Neltner Small Batch designed our jerseys for us and Primal put them into production.

For our off bike shirts I had Primal mimic our jerseys with a few added sponsors.

Crew shirts are in the works.  More on that soon.
